Purpose of data processing
Purpose A: Logging system events with IP address to troubleshoot and prevent attacks on our servers
Purpose B: Logging of website visits on the basis of the by one octet anonymized IP address or the by the subdomain anonymized host name for evaluating the number of visitors and the pages visited
Purpose C: Provide a Live Support in the form of a Live Chat for immediate and reliable accessibility of a contact person in our company
Purpose D: Surname, first name, customer number if available, telephone number, e-mail address, subject, message in the contact form for contacting upon visitor requests
Purpose E: Provide Google Maps on our contact page
Purpose F: Provide a video from YouTube on our main page
Purpose G: Provide a status page independent of our systems at status.visisoft.de
Purpose H: Surname, first name, e-mail address and if applicable customer number, telephone number and postal address of the company when ordering test and full access of the yalst Live Chat on our homepage and access for the yalst software in 1&1 DIY homepage builder
Purpose I: Surname, first name, e-mail address and if applicable customer number, telephone number, postal address when requesting support using e-mail to support@visisoft.de or using our ticket system directly
Legal basis of data processing
The data processing for or purpose A, E and G is done on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with article 6 (1) (f) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose B is done on the given consent by the user at the first start of the website in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose C is done on the given consent by the user of the software at the start of the live chat in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose D is done on the given consent by the user of the software by the sender of the contact form in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose F is done on the given consent by the user when starting the video in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose H is done on the given consent by the user when ordering test or full access of our yalst Live Chat software in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
The data processing for or purpose I is done on the given consent by the user when requesting support using our ticket sytem in accordance with article 6 (1) (a) EU GDPR.
Legitimate interests of the data processor
For purpose A: To ensure permanently the technical availability of the page, the system events are stored and evaluated. In order to be able to recognize and prevent deliberately caused events, all events are stored together with IP addresses.
For purpose E: In order to comfortably show visitors the location of our company, we use Google Maps on our contact page. Google also collects, processes and uses data of the visitors about the use of the maps function. For more information about Google’s data processing, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy. You can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center there.
For purpose G: To ensure the technical availability of a status page, even if all our systems may fail, we created a status page as a mini blog on Tumblr. Third party recipients of the data
The access to the data by our contract data processor who provides the hardware of our live cloud servers (1&1 Internet SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany) and our backup cloud server (1&1 IONOS Cloud GmbH, Greifswalder Str. 207, 10405 Berlin, Germany) is possible.
After registering for our newsletter, access to the newsletter data is possible by our contract data processor (Newsletter2Go GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin; Germany), who provides us with the newsletter service. The privacy policy of Newsletter2Go can be found here.
Visiting the status page allows access to system events through Tumblr (770 Broadway, New York, NY 10003, USA).
When you visit our contact page, Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) may collect, process, and use data about the use of the map features by visitors.
Duration of storage
Purpose A: 14 days
Purpose B: 12 months
Purpose C, D and H: Until entering into a contract (not longer than 24 months), with a running contract until the expiry of the business relationship and till the end of the statutory retention period of business documents (not longer than 10 years), for support inquiries until the solution of the respective problem (not longer than 24 months)
Purpose I: Until the solution of the respective problem (no longer than 24 months)
Rights of the persons concerned
As the data subject of the processing you are entitled free of charge to the following rights:
a) You can revoke the voluntary consent at any time (right of withdrawal)
b) You can request an overview of all data stored by us at any time (right of access)
c) Unless there is a requirement to store the personal data under any law to which the processor is subject, you can request the deletion of the data at any time free of charge (right to delete)
d) You can limit your consent to data processing to specific areas at any time (right of restriction of processing)
e) Data processing that serves the public interest or legitimate interests of the processor, you can contradict at any time, if there are reasons out of your particular situation (right of objection)
f) You have the right to correct this data at any time for data stored incorrectly (right of rectification)
g) You have the right to receive the personal data relating to you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to have it transmitted to another party. (right to transfer data)
Right of appeal
Each data subject is entitled to file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of his country or with the supervisory authority responsible for the company operating the web site.
